The Trust serves persons, groups and organizations for the purpose of lessening the burdens and/or improving the condition of the community, a subset of the community, or individuals. Only the interest earned from Fund investments is eligible for distribution. The Trustees of the Missions Trust Fund are the duly elected members of St. Paul’s Vestry.
The Missions Trust Screening Committee is comprised of the Rector, a Vestry Member, and a parishioner (non-Vestry) elected annually by the members of the church. Each quarter the Committee proposes a list of worthy recipients and submits the list to the Missions Trustees (i.e. the Vestry). A two thirds majority vote of the Trustees is required for grant approval.
