Serving others in Christ's Name is central to Christian life. The Church exists
for the mission to make God's reign known on earth in the here and now. This is
a mission rooted in justice, compassion, and reconciliation. Jesus himself tells
us that when we care for those in need; we are caring for him as well:
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something
to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing,
I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me [...] Truly
I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my
family, you did it to me." Matthew 25:35-36, 40b
Every day we are confronted with natural and man-made tragedies, and often overwhelmed
by their scope and seeming endlessness. St Paul's gives its members the opportunity
to get involved and to make a lasting difference both locally and globally -- one
small step at a time.
We invite you to learn more about the numerous ways that St. Paul's plays an important
role in local and global mission to advance the reign of God in our time.
